Pumped up prep stations, faster blast chillers, bottle coolers for bespoke bars and greener grab and go units are just some of the latest refrigeration designs featured on the Williams stand at HRC.
Visitors can get hands-on experience of Williams’ new reach-in Blast Chillers, which chill food more quickly than ever before, saving time, enhancing food safety and reducing energy consumption. They use natural hydrocarbon refrigerant and feature Williams’ user-friendly EasyBlast (WEB) controller, which makes it very easy for staff to program the cycle. The unit on display, the WBC50, has a capacity of 50kg. It is one of a range of ten different reach-in models, including combined blast chiller freezers, with a choice of capacities from 10kg to 50kg.
Williams have also re-engineered the Onyx prep station and it’s set to be a star of the stand. This latest version has sleek, attractive new aesthetics to add to the innovative energy efficiency and performance features that were unveiled in 2023. The Onyx has refrigerated storage beneath a large, practical worktop that incorporates refrigerated food wells, providing instant access to regularly used fresh ingredients. The Onyx combines food safety with a practical, ergonomic design that’s ideal for preparing foods like salads, pizzas, tapas and desserts. What’s more, its smart airflow system and eco-friendly, natural hydrocarbon refrigerant make it Williams’ most energy efficient Onyx to date – as well as the best looking!.
The new low-height bottle coolers have been designed by Williams with bespoke bars in mind. At 850mm, they can easily be installed where space is at a premium, retaining a generous capacity along with all the features that have made the company’s 900mm versions so popular. These include eye-catching good looks and a robust construction that can handle the knocks of a busy backbar.
Another stand highlight will be the latest version of Williams’ Multideck grab and go merchandiser. The model on stand is the R100 HFD, a stylish and slimline design that offers a large capacity and an attractive display. It also has glass doors for maximum energy efficiency: in tests, hinged doors helped decrease the energy requirements of Williams Multidecks significantly, compared to the open-front equivalent. Meanwhile their clear, double-walled glass provides excellent product visibility to help encourage sales.
The comprehensive range of features and customisation options of our Coldrooms will also be showcased on the stand, highlighting Williams’ Coldroom capabilities. Visitors can also catch a show-exclusive preview of new versions of the top-of-the-range Jade cabinets and counters, details of which are under wraps till HRC opens.
Williams is sharing stand H1831 with sister company Falcon, so there will be the opportunity to see market-leading refrigeration and prime cooking equipment side by side.
