Williams recognises the outstanding contribution its loyal employees have made to its success in a special Long Service Award Lunch on Tuesday 3rd September at the company’s showroom.
Dave Britton, John Freestone, Domonic Mace, Mark Rippon, Ray Woodhouse and Keith Panks have each been at Williams for 30 years, while Steve Bradbury, Angela Mowles, Carl Muffett and Lee Parkin have run up 20 years apiece.
Williams is now an internationally recognised market leader in commercial refrigeration, supplying to supermarkets and hospitals as well as hundreds of hospitality venues, but it doesn’t forget the workforce is the driving engine of any company.
“We are a company that is known for our long-serving employees - as well as for the excellence of our refrigeration products.” says Martin Laws, Marketing Manager at Williams.
Lee Parkin, Manufacturing Team Leader, says, “I have seen Williams grow over the years, and although the number of units we make every week has sky-rocketed, we still pride ourselves on manufacturing top quality refrigeration at a reasonable price. The company makes sure that even with the increased production, I have the time to give each unit the same loving care and attention to detail that I always have.”
Domonic Mace, Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager, backs up these sentiments. “We have expanded our operations to a vibrant overseas market but not lost sight of the core values that attracted me to Williams in the first place. It is a company that believes in looking after its workforce. These awards are a testament to that.”
